From community events to reconnecting with friends, it's been a reminder of how many meaningful moments are worth preserving. Below are a few highlights. July 25, 2026 I had the opportunity to once again photograph the annual Day of Resilience with the 7/20 Memorial Foundation, at Aurora Water Wise Garden. It's always an honor to help preserve these meaningful moments, 5K and amazing chalk artists. (Browse Photos here) Operation Village East, on July 18, 2026 was a wonderful success! Thank you to everyone who volunteered, sponsored, and helped make the day so meaningful. After all was said and done we collected 217 lbs of trash from Country Lane Park in Aurora. View Gallery! A few places you'll find me with my camera over the next couple of months: August 6 Boards and Commissions Convention As a volunteer and board member to Spirit of Aurora, I’ll be representing 1 of 22 of the city’s boards and commissions. I'd love to see more people discover ways to make a difference. Stop by to be a part of the Community Faces Gallery. Thursday, August 6th, 2026, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway. It is free and open to the public.   August 8 BACK TO SCHOOL I'll be capturing the excitement from 5pm-9pm with a pop-up event in Centennial as kids and families prepare for 2026-2027 school year. Another fun community event. If you're planning to attend, RSVP here.  August 14 Picnic at the Garden & Park I'll be hosting a relaxed summer evening at the Ponderosa Community Garden and Park, bringing together friends, clients, and anyone who wants to explore the food forest created April 2026. More details coming soon. I hope you'll join me. Then, it's Libra birthday season... As summer turns to fall, our family calendar fills up with birthdays before we wrap up another memorable year. October 2026 One of my favorite times of the year to photograph! I'll be out capturing the high school seniors, changing leaves and cozy sweaters.
